A sadist, a brute, a beast
What will you call him?

He was born a black furred jackal with a wicked and evil grin, one that would turn the stomach of any measly human plus a nasty little attitude to boot. His ever-scowling eyes are his most unique feature, with blood red sclera and silver irises. The left eye has no pupil and can only sense auras, or rather, the colors of ones soul.

He was born a slave, “Sylas,” alongside his late brother “Galliard.” Only later in life did the two learn their true names their mother gave them: Asmodaios and Astaroth. They were raised under a single mistress in The Empire of Drakoria. They grew up in a massive underground colony of apparitions, Wyrmmes, bugges and furres. Their mistress, Lady Kazune, had purchased Asmo and Asta in their infancy. Her clan, the late Kazune, were one of three major families in power in The Underground who thrived there for centuries.

Asmo and Asta were tasked to act as guard dogs for a massive grow operation under the Kazune clan for well over a century. During that time they had slain countless. The pups were taught to be vicious and show little mercy. When they weren’t on guard dog duty, they were fighting in the pits of the local slave auction, and when they weren’t fighting in the pits, they were fighting in the streets. Safe to say: it was all he knew.

The rumor mill said the brothers had been stolen from their mother shortly after their birth. She too was a black jackal who was rumored to have mated with the devil Satanas himself, made obvious by her pup’s ability to transform into werewolf-like demons with bat wings, devil horns, spikes and a trademark spade at the end of the tail. The two never seemed aware of the connection. They simply wanted to live their lives in peace and quiet. However it seemed everywhere they went, trouble followed.

The name Asmodai is derive from Avestan language *aēšma-daēva, where aēšma means "wrath", and daēva signifies "demon."

Asta's eyes were opposite of Asmo's - with a blind right eye and a sighted left.

He is rumored to have killed his mistress, and caused the collapse of The Underground City.

He was shipped to Guildereim as a slave but bought his freedom fighting in the pits after a couple of years.

He uses explosives in combat.

There are rumors floating around that he used to torture fellow slaves and harvest their organs alongside his mercenary work.

He's "racist" against naga.

He's learning how to read and write currently

He didn't know metal existed until moving away from Drakoria, where metal all turns to rust in a matter of hours. It fascinates him still to this day.

Had a pet kitten, Shiro, at one point in his life. He doesn't like to talk about her.

He used to suffer severe aquaphobia from being drowned as punishment as a pup, and has since overcome it, though it does rear its head every now and then.

He hunts for his own food but occasionally buys food at TGT if he wants to feel "fancy." He donates the extra fish he catches to their kitchen.

Due to a spell gone wrong, his stomach acid is extremely lethal and can dissolve through flesh and wood fairly quickly. Think corrosive acid on steroids. (Saliva is a bit stingy too and will cause burns if it stays in contact with flesh for too long. He's a great hook up.)

Some of his teeth are chipped due to his violent upbringing.

He once had his ear bitten off completely by a fellow slave, then regurgitated back into his lap. He sewed it back on himself and only passed out once.

He only recently discovered the importance of bathing, and loves to hire slaves to do it for him. He loves to get his shoulders rubbed, hair washed, and to be sang/hummed to.
